Founded in 1996, DynamicSolutions | DCCM is a nationally recognized water resources and environmental consulting firm specializing in hydrodynamic, sediment transport, water quality, and ecosystem modeling. Our team of engineers, scientists, and modelers combines advanced science, innovative modeling tools, and decades of experience to understand complex aquatic systems and develop solutions for some of the nation’s most challenging water resource and environmental issues.
DynamicSolutions | DCCM has extensive experience developing and applying multi-dimensional models for rivers, lakes, estuaries, and coastal systems. Our technical expertise includes the Environmental Fluid Dynamics Code (EFDC) and Adaptive Hydraulics (AdH) surface water models, as well as the Comprehensive Aquatic Systems Model (CASM) ecological model. These tools allow our team to evaluate interconnected physical, chemical, and ecological processes and provide clients with the technical insight needed to make informed decisions about water quality, sediment management, ecosystem restoration, and other complex environmental challenges.

Our largely senior-level staff brings specialized expertise to large and technically demanding water resources engineering, surface water modeling, contaminated sediment, and ecosystem restoration projects. DynamicSolutions | DCCM has provided environmental project management, technical oversight, modeling, and applied research services for federal, state, and industrial clients throughout the United States.
Our experience includes work within some of the nation’s most significant and complex aquatic systems, including the Everglades, Louisiana Coast, Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, Housatonic River, Fox River, Portland Harbor, Passaic River, Newark Bay, and Columbia River. Across each assignment, we bring a science-driven approach, specialized technical expertise, and a commitment to providing clients with defensible solutions grounded in a thorough understanding of the systems we study.
